| Instructor Policies | Since there are no office hours I can be contacted by email to set up an appointment. My email address is balloukw@lamarpa.edu. Students must use appropriate e-mail etiquette when corresponding with instructor; for example, complete sentences and a full subject line with your name/course name. Reliable Internet access is required for all online courses. Computer failure and lack of internet access are not acceptable excuses for missed assignments, projects, quizzes, or exams. DO NOT wait until the last minute to complete class work or exams. There will be four major exams and a final exam. You MUST take the final exam. Failure to take the final will result in failure for the course. | ||||||||
| Attendance Policy | Research has shown a cause and effect relationship between attendance and college success. Missing a day of lecture can possible cause you to drop a letter grade on tests. 1. Tardiness: Tardiness (more than 5 mins), for lectures or labs, 4 Tardies will count as an Absence. 2. Absences: NOTE: Excused absences (verifiable) are only allowed for an illness that requires you to stay home or a death in your immediate family. 5 absences=drop 1 letter grade, 7 absences=drop 2 letter grades, 9-absences=drop 3 letter grades, 11 absences=F | ||||||||
